two too to tuesday – a class act

The lovely Sol singing Tammy Wynette’s “Stand by Your Man,” while standing over previously ripped and scribbled on images of N.Korean leader Kim Jong-il.  The happening, a critique on the N.Korean devotion to the leader, was an introduction to a piece to be performed in full on Thursday as part of the Parasites show.

Parasites, a group show featuring works outside of the traditional “white-cube” gallery setting, is being put on by a group of Parsons Fine Arts Juniors, and boy are they a stylin’ crew…
